Tonight was a special night for my brother and I. He absolutley loves fireworks, so I picked him up from school and we drove down to South Carolina to pick up a few things to go boom-boom! You should’ve seen the look on his face when we were shooting stuff off, he loved it!! There’s a special bond between me and my brother and fireworks. If I get the chance, I’ll tell you the long story!

So, it was too windy and too dry to risk burning down the woods with all our contraband, so we ended up only shooting off a few big ones, then using up a whole pack of sparklers. I hope this special evening with my brother was able to alleviate some of his sadness about me leaving… he’s taking it pretty hard.
